Healthworks Aspley gym has fully supervised classes designed for older adults, which incorporate gentle resistance and cardiovascular exercise training for those who want to play a more active role in their health outcomes. One-on-one and small group hydrotherapy classes are available at local pools with Healthworks Allied Health’s Accredited Exercise Physiologists. Hydrotherapy incorporates the use of water to relieve discomfort, manage a number of chronic health conditions and promote physical well being. Medicare / Private Health rebates may be available.
Healthworks Aspley – Gym and Fitness Centre – has a permanent Dietitian on staff available for appointments at the Club to provide expert nutrition and dietary advice. Les Mills VIRTUAL Classes include Body Pump, Body Balance, Body Combat, Sh’Bam, and CX Worx. These classes run all day, everyday and ‘On Demand’ for your convenience! Almost 100 classes are scheduled during the week in addition to our regular, instructor classes to cater for everyone’s schedule.
Healthworks 24/7 Aspley Gym has a full range of Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment. A huge range of machine weights and free weights. Our Aspley Gym has some key machines including: double cable crossover, lying leg curl, hack squat, 3 lifting platforms and racks plus much, much more!
Our Life Fitness cardio equipment has both TV’s attached and cardio theatre capabilities to keep you going for longer during your workout. Our equipment includes the latest treadmills, cross-trainers, upright and recumbent bikes, as well as, Concept2 rowers. Our staff can give you great tips to help add variety to your cardiovascular training.
For Mums and Dads, our Kids Club / Creche is available every morning from Monday to Saturday, with lots of fun, themed-activities planned each month. We also have luxurious change room and shower facilities, including hair dryers and straighteners in the ladies to make your training experience enjoyable and stress-free.
